The case stemmed from an incident where our client, while enjoying a salad purchased from a convenience store, unknowingly ingested a piece of metal wire that had contaminated the salad. The metal wire then became lodged in her throat, requiring surgical intervention. Despite this very traumatic event, our client was able to physically recover.
